Growth-Driven Design

A website that improves every month, instead of ageing from launch day.

Most redesigns take months, launch once, and start going stale. Growth-Driven Design gets a better site live in 60 to 90 days, then improves it in two-week sprints based on what real visitors do. We build it on HubSpot and connect it to your CRM, so every visit, form and booking lands on the same record your sales and service teams use.

A traditional redesign is a large bet placed on guesses.

A traditional redesign means months of planning, a large budget paid up front, and a launch date that keeps slipping. Layouts and content are decided on opinion, because there’s no data yet. Then the site goes live and is left largely untouched until it’s old enough to redesign again.

Meanwhile, the site sits apart from the rest of the business. A visitor fills in a form and sales sees a name with no history. Marketing can’t tell which pages lead to deals.

01

Slow to launch.

Months of work before a single page goes live, while the old site keeps underperforming.

02

Built on assumptions.

Decisions made before anyone has seen how visitors use the site.

03

Stale by year two.

Nobody owns improving it, so the site drifts out of date until the next rebuild.

04

Disconnected from the CRM.

The site forgets every visitor the moment they leave, and sales starts each conversation from scratch.

Launch sooner, then improve from real data.

Growth-Driven Design replaces one large redesign with a faster launch and continuous improvement. Every decision starts with your visitors: what they need, where they get stuck, and what moves them to the next step.

Visitors first.

We start with the problems people bring to your site, not with page templates.

Monitored monthly.

Analytics, heatmaps and recordings show how people use the live site.

Improved in sprints.

Changes are planned, built and tested in short cycles. What works stays; what doesn’t is dropped.

It’s the same principle behind all our work: understand how things should run before you build, then keep building.

It’s not rocket science, just common sense.

How it compares

Traditional redesign

A traditional redesign is paid for up front, takes months to build, launches once on assumptions, and is left alone until the next redesign.

Growth-Driven Design

Growth-Driven Design puts a launchpad site live in 60 to 90 days at a lower upfront cost, then improves it every 14 days using data from real visitors. The site gets stronger the longer it runs.

01Website strategy

Start with your visitors and your goals.

Every launch starts with a strategy and SMART goals. We build an understanding of your audience that goes further than buyer personas, focused on how the website can solve their problems at each stage of their journey.

  1. Business and website goals.

What the business needs the website to achieve, and how each website goal ties back to a business goal.

  2. Fundamental assumptions.

The core beliefs about your business, audience and website, with the risky or unknown ones tested before we build on them.

  3. Jobs to be done.

The progress your customers are trying to make, and why they “hire” your product or service to help them make it.

  4. Customer journey mapping.

A full view of your buyer’s situation and decisions, from first visit to becoming a customer.

  5. Buyer personas.

Profiles of your ideal customers that give the team a shared language and a way to judge ideas.

  6. Website-specific strategy.

Ideas for how the website can solve visitors’ problems, give them value and hit your business goals.

  7. Brainstorm wishlist.

Every idea that could help visitors or the business, scored for impact and effort. The highest-value items go into the launchpad site; the rest feed later sprints.

02Launchpad website

A better site, live in 60 to 90 days.

We build a site that performs better than the one you have today. Like a minimum viable product, it isn’t the finished site but the foundation for growth. From launch, it collects real visitor data, so every later decision is based on evidence.

  1. 01

    Page flows.

The outline and flow of each key page and pillar page, planned from the strategy to meet visitor needs and SEO goals.

  2. 02

    Rapid content prototypes.

Content written before design, turning page flows into a design-ready prototype so the design sprint runs faster.

  3. 03

    Design sprint.

The first designs, built from that content, are ready to review within a week. We collect feedback quickly and finalise.

  4. 04

    Development sprint.

Pages built in HubSpot, with internal linking, SEO data, browser and page-speed testing. Forms and bookings connect to your CRM, and heatmaps go live at launch to start collecting visitor data.

  5. 05

    Page migrations.

The first sprints focus on the three to five pages with the biggest impact. The rest of the site then moves across, with redirects in place.

  6. 06

    Focus on quality.

Faster doesn’t mean rushed. Every page has to serve visitors and be signed off by your stakeholders.

A launchpad website carries less risk than a traditional redesign, with lower upfront cost and time. It’s the foundation you build and improve on.

03Continuous improvement

Improve the site every two weeks.

A repeatable process for collecting real visitor data, building the highest-impact changes, and gaining momentum with each sprint.

1

Plan.

Each sprint starts with one metric to improve. The ideas most likely to move it are prioritised into a fixed-length build sprint.

2

Build.

A focused sprint to ship those changes as quickly as possible without lowering quality.

3

Learn.

We review each change against the data to see what worked and what didn’t. Those findings shape the next sprint’s plan.

4

Transfer.

What we learn about your audience goes to marketing, sales and service, so the whole business works from the same understanding of the customer.

Why build it on HubSpot

Your website is the front door to one customer record.

A website on its own is a brochure. Built on HubSpot and wired to your CRM, it becomes the first stage of a connected journey: the visit, the form, the deal and the support ticket sit on one record. Sales sees what a lead read before they called. Marketing sees which pages lead to revenue. And once the record is clean, the same site can open into a customer portal where your customers check orders, renewals and tickets themselves.

FAQ

What is Growth-Driven Design?

A way of building websites that replaces one large redesign with a fast launch and continuous improvement. You launch a better site in 60 to 90 days, then improve it every two weeks based on what real visitors do.

How long does it take?

Strategy takes three to four weeks, and the launchpad site goes live within 60 to 90 days. Improvement then runs in 14-day sprints for as long as you want it to.

How much does it cost?

[Add pricing: strategy and launchpad fee, and the monthly sprint retainer.] Because the launchpad site is smaller than a full redesign, the upfront cost is lower and spread over time.

Do we need to be on HubSpot?

We build Growth-Driven Design sites on HubSpot’s Content Hub, because that’s what lets the site share a record with your CRM. If you’re moving from WordPress or another platform, we migrate the content and set up redirects to protect your search rankings.

Will we lose our search rankings?

We map every URL, set up redirects, and carry across metadata during page migrations, so search visibility is protected through the move.

Can we stop the sprints?

[Confirm the minimum term for continuous improvement and the notice period.] The site and everything built in it belongs to you either way.

What if we already have a HubSpot website?

We can start from it. The strategy stage reviews what’s working, and continuous improvement can begin on your current site without a rebuild if the foundation is sound.
