HubSpot Training

Training on your HubSpot, not HubSpot in general.

Most HubSpot training teaches the software. We teach your team how your business runs in it: their own pipelines, their own records, the handoffs they make every day. And before we train anyone, we check whether the problem is skills or setup, because no course fixes a system that doesn’t match how people work.

Your team logs in. Then they work somewhere else.

Adoption reports look fine. Reps log in, managers open the dashboard, the licence count is justified. Then the real pipeline lives in a spreadsheet, handoffs happen in email, and the forecast gets rebuilt by hand before every call.

The usual response is more training: a refresher, a few HubSpot Academy courses, a lunch-and-learn. It rarely changes anything, because most training explains what the buttons do. It doesn’t explain how your process is meant to run in HubSpot, and it can’t fix a setup that makes the job harder than the spreadsheet did.

01

Training that doesn’t stick.

People attend, nod along, and go back to the old way within a fortnight.

02

Generic examples.

Sessions run on demo data that looks nothing like your deals, tickets or customers.

03

One person holds it together.

Your admin, or your last partner, is the only one who knows how it works, so every question goes to them.

04

New starters learn by copying.

Whoever sits next to them shows them their own workarounds, and the bad habits spread.

Find out why people aren’t using it before you train them.

Low adoption has more than one cause, and each needs a different fix. So we find the cause first:

Skills.

They don’t know how. HubSpot is set up well, but the team was never shown how to use it for their job. Training fixes this.

Setup.

The system doesn’t match the work. Stages, fields and views were set up around someone’s guess at the process, so using HubSpot is slower than avoiding it. Training won’t fix this. The setup has to change first.

Both.

The usual answer. We fix the setup, then train on the version that works.

If the diagnostic shows the problem is setup, we’ll tell you before you spend money on training that won’t hold.

Each role learns the part of HubSpot they use.

Sales reps.

Working deals, logging activity, using sequences and tasks, and keeping the pipeline current without extra admin. Built around your stages and your definitions.

Sales managers and RevOps.

Pipeline reviews, forecasting, and the reports that tell you what’s happening, so the forecast call runs from HubSpot rather than a spreadsheet.

Marketing.

Lists, forms, emails, campaigns and lead handoff, including what marketing needs to pass to sales and when.

Service and customer success.

Tickets, the handoff from sales to onboarding to support, and what the customer sees in the portal.

Admins.

Properties, workflows, permissions and data hygiene, so someone on your team can run and extend the portal without calling a partner for every change.

Leadership.

A short session on reading the dashboards: what each number means, where it comes from, and which ones to trust.

In your portal, on your records.

  1. Built from your process map.

Sessions follow how work moves through your business, step by step, not the order of HubSpot’s menus.

  2. Your own data.

We train in your portal [or a sandbox copy: confirm], using your deals, contacts and tickets, so people recognise their own work.

  3. Short and by role.

Sessions of [60 to 90 minutes: confirm], grouped by team, so nobody sits through features they’ll never use.

  4. Recorded and written down.

Every session is recorded, with a short reference guide per role, so new starters learn the agreed way, not someone’s workaround.

  5. Checked afterwards.

[30] days later we look at how each team is using HubSpot and run a follow-up where usage has slipped.

  6. Delivery.

On-site across Ireland and the UK, and remote across the rest of Europe. [Confirm.]

Process first. Then the training.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

The Tool-or-Process Diagnostic shows where people work around HubSpot and whether the cause is skills, setup or the process behind both.

  2. 02

    Fix the setup

Where the system doesn’t match the work, we redesign the process and change HubSpot to serve it. Training on a broken setup teaches the workaround.

  3. 03

    Train by role

Each team learns its part of the process, in its own portal, on its own records.

  4. 04

    Check and extend

We check usage after go-live and retrain where it slips. A team that uses HubSpot keeps the record current, and a current record is what a customer portal and AI agents depend on.

A record people keep current is what reaches your customer.

Training isn’t the goal. It’s what keeps the record accurate after we’ve gone. A customer portal can only show a customer the right status if someone updated it. An AI agent can only act on data the team trusts enough to maintain. Every team that works inside HubSpot instead of around it moves the system closer to your customer.

[Client A], a [120]-person SaaS company.

Out of spreadsheets in [six] weeks.

[Client A] had trained its sales team twice and the pipeline still lived in a spreadsheet. The diagnostic showed the deal stages didn’t match how they sold. We rebuilt the pipeline around their process, then trained reps and managers on the new version in their own portal.

Result

[X]% of deals updated in HubSpot weekly, up from [X]%, and the forecast call now runs from one dashboard.

“[It was the first training where people saw their own deals on screen.]”

Service joined sales on one process.

[Client B]’s service team moved onto HubSpot from a separate ticketing tool. We mapped the handoff from closed deal to onboarding before training, then trained service and sales together on the part they share.

Result

[X] support staff trained in [X] days, and onboarding handoffs moved out of email.

“[Both teams finally work from the same record.]”

FAQ

How is this different from HubSpot Academy?

HubSpot Academy teaches the software in general, and it’s free. We teach your team how your process runs in your portal, on your records. Academy is a useful companion for admins and anyone who wants to go further.

Can you train our team without doing a build?

Yes, if the setup is sound. If the diagnostic shows people are avoiding HubSpot because it doesn’t match how they work, we’ll tell you, because training on that setup won’t change much. [Confirm whether standalone training is sold without the diagnostic.]

We’ve had training before and nothing changed. Why would this be different?

Most training explains features. If the cause was the setup or the process, more training was never going to fix it. We find the cause first, and train on a version of HubSpot built around how your teams work.

Do you train on our portal or a demo?

Your portal [or a sandbox copy of it: confirm], with your own deals, contacts and tickets.

Is it remote or in person?

Either. [Confirm remote, on-site and hybrid options, and any travel costs outside Dublin.]

How long does it take?

It depends on how many teams and roles are involved. A single team is usually [X] sessions over [X] weeks. You get a fixed plan and price before we start.

Can you train our admin to run HubSpot without you?

Yes. Admin training covers properties, workflows, permissions and data hygiene, with documentation of how your portal is built, so you don’t depend on one person or on us.

What about people who join later?

Every session is recorded and comes with a reference guide per role. [Describe any onboarding package or refresher option for new starters.]

How much does training cost?

[Add pricing: per session, per team or per day.] Where training follows a build, it’s included in the phase 1 quote. Every engagement starts with the Tool-or-Process Diagnostic: two weeks, fixed price, from £3,250, credited against your build if you go ahead within 30 days.

Start with why they’re not using it.

The Tool-or-Process Diagnostic shows whether your team needs training, a better setup, or both. Two weeks, fixed price, from £3,250. Credited against your build if you go ahead within 30 days.
